In the Indian Navy, SSR stands for Senior Secondary Recruit in its full form. The Indian Government's Indian Navy SSR AA Recruitment is for the naval sector of the Indian Armed Forces. Indian Navy Agniveer SSR Selection Procedure 2026

The Indian Navy Agniveer SSR Recruitment Selection Process for 01/2027, 02/2027 includes the following stages-

• Stage I: INET (Indian Navy Entrance Test)
• Stage II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Written Examination, and Recruitment Medical Examination

Merit list will be prepared based on performance in written examination, subject to qualification in Physical Fitness Test.

The candidates eligible for the stage II process of Agniveer (SSR) 01/2027 and 02/2027 batch (as per age criteria mentioned at Para 3 above) shall be shortlisted for the respective batch, based on the marks obtained in Stage I-INET 2026. Shortlisting will be carried out state wise. The cut-off marks for shortlisting for next stage of selection process may vary from state to state as vacancies have been allotted in a state-wise manner.

TRAINING: Training for Agniveer 01/2027 will tentatively commence in Dec 2026 and for Agniveer 02/2027 in May 2027 at INS Chilka, Odisha.
