IBSAT, or the ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test, is an entrance exam conducted by the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, a deemed university in India. ICFAI Business School (IBS) offers the following programs through IBSAT 2026:

• MBA (Master of Business Administration) at IBS Hyderabad, IBS Dehradun, IBS Jaipur and IBS Bangalore (off campus of IFHE Hyderabad).
• PGPM (Post Graduate Programme in Management) at 5 IBS campuses - Ahmedabad, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune.
• PhD programs at IBS Hyderabad, IBS Bangalore.

The MBA and PGPM programs are two-year postgraduate management courses. Candidates can apply for these programs based on their IBSAT 2026 score, as well as CAT, GMAT, NMAT, and XAT scores from 2023 onwards.

IBSAT Selection Process 2026

The IBSAT 2026 selection process consists of the following stages:

IBSAT Exam

• Candidates appear for the IBSAT 2026 exam held on December, 2026.
• The exam has 140 MCQs across four sections: Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, and Data Interpretation & Data Adequacy.

Selection Briefings

• Candidates who qualify IBSAT are invited for selection briefings in 60 cities.
• The briefings provide information about IBS and tips for GD and PI preparation.

Micro Presentation

• Selected candidates participate in the micro presentation round at the concerned IBS campus.
• Candidates are divided into groups and given a topic to present on.

Personal Interview (PI)

• Candidates who clear the micro presentation are called for the PI.
• The PI assesses candidates' confidence, thought clarity, and interpersonal skills.
• PI duration depends on the candidate's answers.

How to Apply For IBSAT 2026

Here are the steps to apply for IBSAT 2026:

Online Application Process

1. Visit the official IBSAT website at ibsindia.org and click on the "IBSAT 2026 Registration" link.
2. Create a new account by providing your personal details like name, email, mobile number, etc.
3. Once registered, log in to your account and fill out the IBSAT 2026 application form. Enter details such as:
• Personal information (name, date of birth, gender, nationality)
• Contact information (permanent and current address, email, mobile number)
• Academic qualifications (10th, 12th, graduation, other professional degrees)
• Upload passport size photograph and signature as per specifications
4. Review the filled application form carefully. If any changes are needed, click "Back" to edit. If correct, click "Proceed to Payment".
5. Pay the application fee of 1800 using debit/credit card or net banking. Wait for the payment confirmation.
6. After successful payment, the completed application form will be displayed. Download it along with the payment receipt for future reference.

1. Purchase the IBSAT 2026 application form from designated IBS branches by paying 1800.
2. You will receive a voucher with an application number and password.
