MAT Exam Pattern-The MAT exam consists of five sections:

• Language Comprehension: 40 marks, 30 questions

• Mathematical Skills: 40 marks, 30 questions

• Data Analysis and Sufficiency: 40 marks, 30 questions

• Intelligence and Critical Reasoning: 40 marks, 30 questions

• Economic & Business Environment: 40 marks, 30 questions

Marking Scheme

• +1 mark for each correct answer

• -0.25 marks for each incorrect answer

• No penalty for unattempted questions

Expected Cutoffs

The expected cutoffs for MAT 2025 will be updated after the exam analysis is complete. However, based on past trends, here are some rough estimates:

• 90+ percentile:

• Language Comprehension: 26-27 marks

• Mathematical Skills: 28-29 marks

• Data Analysis and Sufficiency: 21-22 marks

• Intelligence and Critical Reasoning: 25-26 marks
