PNB Local Bank Officer (LBO) Eligibility Criteria 2026

The eligibility for Punjab National bank LBO in terms of age and educational qualification is as follows.

Nationality

The candidate must be:

  • A citizen of India,
    OR
  • A subject of Nepal/Bhutan,
    OR
  • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India,
    OR
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
    (Note: Candidates other than Indian citizens must produce a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.)

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 20 years
  • Maximum Age: 30 years

Candidates born not earlier than 02.08.1996 and not later than 01.08.2006(both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
