KSET Exam Details Overview 2025

The Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) is an annual exam conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) to determine the eligibility of candidates for the position of Assistant Professor in universities, colleges, and other institutions of higher education in the state of Karnataka. The purpose of the KSET exam is to qualify candidates for Assistant Professor roles in government, aided, and private colleges/universities in Karnataka.

The KSET 2025 exam will consist of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 will be of 100 marks, and Paper 2 will also be of 100 marks. The exam will be conducted in offline mode through OMR sheets, with a total duration of 3 hours.

How to Apply KSET 2025

1. Visit the Official Website: Go to the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) website at http://kea.kar.nic.in
2. Click on KSET Application Link: On the homepage, look for the link to apply for the KSET 2025 exam and click on it.
3. Register and Create Account: If you are a new user, you will need to register and create an account on the portal by providing the required personal and contact details.
4. Fill Application Form: After logging in, proceed to fill out the KSET 2025 application form. This will include entering your:

The KSET 2025 Admit Card will be released online a few days before the exam date of November 02, 2025.Candidates can download their admit card from the official website of the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).The admit card will contain important details such as the candidate's name, roll number, exam date and time, exam center address, and their photo and signature.Candidates must verify all the details carefully and report to the exam center at least 1 hour before the scheduled exam time.
